Until You Don’t

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

“down the bottle you'll feel better, until you don't" this is a confronting one for me to make, dealing with alcoholism is no walk in the park, and it's something I've been struggling with over the last year, particularly in my line of work I'm exposed to alcohol constantly, I drink to feel like I fit in or so im less socially awkward and more "fun", but it's all fun until your bent over your toilet bowl at 2am and questioning why you do this to yourself. The hangover anxiety and depression always hits me hard and so I've been trying to make a conscious effort to slow down, it's not an easy journey but it's one I want to make for myself”
