The Moon

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

“On the near side of the moon (the side in this lino print) the dark spots are actually a dried up lava ocean. The far side of the moon has a lot more craters (caused by meteorites) and a lot less lava. The cool part is: meteors hitting the far side of the moon actually stimulated volcanic activity on the near side.”
