"The perception of the self can be multifaceted akin to the reflections in a gemstone or a mirror box. The outer reflections are what people perceive of me or perceive me to want i.e. being a cis woman and being christian. The broken mirror shows the true reflection of myself in my genderfluid, pagan, queer, geeky identity. The idea of the mirror box comes from a christening gift I was given as a child."
