Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

Jocelyn Bishop (she/they), our favourite independent support worker, recently won the “Influencer of the Year” award at the Transgender Victoria’s Gender Revel Gala for her amazing work in the community. She proudly identifies as a neurodivergent, non-binary trans woman and focuses on helping equity-deserving young people and adults achieve their potential in ways that suit them best. Right now, she has openings for support work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
