When I was a child I was diagnosed with a learning disability. I know now that it is a blessing and not a disability at all. My lived experience of growing up with this neurological variation has given me the greatest gift, being able to relate and build empathetic relationships with amazing neurodiverse clients.

This sculpture was given to me by a client (with permission to share) and I keep it in my studio as a beautiful reminder.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
