“I’ve always loved animals, and I do pet portraits as a hobby, so when I saw a little kitten in my first session I knew I had to draw him.

I’ve wanted to do art therapy for years, hoping that I would be able to switch off the hyper-critical part of me that inhibits my creativity while also talking things through.

This drawing is not up to my usual detailed, lifelike standard - and it is quite cartoonish - but you know what? I also like that about it!
