“I used this art to process some feelings I have about my last job, where I worked as a content writer. After a period of denial and internal down-playing, I've come to realise that my old manager and editor was a bully, whether he meant to be or not. I'm now angry at him for damaging my self esteem so much and myself for practically gaslighting myself about it, as well as sad for all I lost. I wanted to express how I was feeling in an emotive way, then contrast it with the cold corrections to reflect the way that he over-edited my work and made me feel smaller and like I wasn't expressing myself well enough.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
