Pride Earrings

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

“Although gender and sexuality exist on separate continuums, there can be multiple points of intersection; inevitably, the two are intertwind because sexual orientation is largely defined by attraction to same or different gender identity. This is the limitation of categorical perspective on gender. When considering fluid identities, both gender and sexual, it is necessary to expand beyond this construct.” - Mikella Millen

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
