Play With Your Creativity

Sha’an d’Anthes offered an insightful artistic approach to help with creative burnout, which I have found is also effective for tackling art block.

If you notice that your creative process is overly structured, it could be a good idea to introduce a little chaos into the mix. On the flip side, if your work feels too chaotic, it might be time to incorporate a little more structure to your process.

Spending excessive time experimenting with new ideas can lead to self-doubt, a sign it’s time to return to old techniques. However, sticking to the same thing for too long can become monotonous, so trying something new could be what you need.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
