Neurodiversity is a term originally coined by Judy Singer. Neurodiversity challenges the idea that there is a “right” way of functioning. This holds the view that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways. There is no "right" way of thinking, learning or behaving. Our differences are not viewed as deficits or disorders but as very natural due to the diversity of human minds and experiences.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
