Crisis 1, 2 & 3

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

"Crisis 1 depicts the internal struggle, the intense and often violent conflict of self where both action and inaction feel equally self destructive.

Crisis 2 depicts the disconnect and shame that follows, knowing you should be grateful or proud to prevail against the struggle but instead a feeling of sadness and disappointment

Crisis 3 a sense disiapiating once again into the security and comfort of numbness and apathy."

The client who created these 3 crisis artworks has given consent to me to share.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
