Boundaries Exploration

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

Updated: Jul 25, 2023

“Rae has been teaching me about boundary styles; porous, health and rigid. This is a representation of my experience of trying to put health boundaries in place. The dragon represents someone who expects my boundaries to be porous. I’m letting the dragon know that they can’t come onto my island by setting the boundary with my axe and I am ready to fly away on my broom if they don’t respect my boundaries.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
