Beauty in Silence

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

“This pace took me 6 sessions overall. In the first session I worked on the background using the colours to represent my emotions, before moving on to the golden stripe down the middle for the next 2 sessions. I then proceeded to use a water-like pattern on the red side, and scales on the other side. Overall, this piece was very much a “go with the flow” piece and just draw whatever comes to mind.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
